The whole-room price is split eight ways for four nights, including the late traveller’s unused first night. City tax is budgeted for four nights per person, including the late arrival, to match the agreed group split. Food is allowed for all 5 / 4 calendar days, including travel days. Local transport includes standard public airport transfers; taxis are extra. Activities use the same allowance for both stays.
Outside this budget: UK airport travel or parking, travel insurance, passports, shopping and any spending above the food/drinks allowance. Refundable hostel deposits need extra cash but are not trip costs.

Ask the hostel to reserve the entire room from 7–11 January, with seven checking in Thursday and the eighth joining Friday.
